Tristian Gentry is a wide receiver and return specialist for Texas Tech. The Stephenville, Texas native was a four-star recruit and one of the program's first commitments to the 2025 class. During his high school career, he posted at least 1,000 receiving yards in all three varsity seasons, accumulating 228 catches for 4,416 yards and 51 touchdowns. As a senior, he earned first-team All-State honors after recording 93 receptions for 1,778 yards and 22 touchdowns. In his true freshman season in 2025, Gentry appeared in seven games, catching four passes for 45 yards. He returned 10 punts for 76 yards and three kickoffs for 74 yards, leading the team with 10 total punt returns.
