Trey White is a 6'2", 255-pound left defensive end from San Diego, California, who transferred to Texas Tech for the 2026 season after three years at San Diego State. As a junior in 2025, White started all 13 games and recorded 53 tackles (26 solo), 10.5 tackles for loss, and 7.0 sacks while earning All-Mountain West First Team honors for the second consecutive year. Over the 2024-25 seasons, he compiled 28.0 tackles for loss and 19.5 sacks, ranking third in the FBS in sacks during that span. White's 19.5 career sacks at San Diego State rank sixth all-time in program history and place him among the leading returner sack leaders entering 2026.
