Miquel Dingle Jr. is a 6'2", 225-pound linebacker from Charleston, South Carolina, who attended Byrnes High School. A three-star recruit in the 2023 class, he enrolled at Texas Tech and redshirted his freshman season in 2023, appearing in four games with 12 tackles including 1.5 for loss. In 2024 as a redshirt freshman, Dingle appeared in all 13 games primarily on passing downs and special teams, recording 29 tackles (15 solo), a forced fumble, two quarterback hurries, and 1.5 tackles for loss with a shared sack. Pro Football Focus credited him with 167 defensive snaps and awarded him an 88.9 overall grade. He was sidelined during the 2025 season after suffering an injury on the first play against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on August 30.
