Julien Laventure is a defensive tackle for Texas Tech, standing 6'0" and weighing 285 pounds. The Upper Darby, Pennsylvania native began his college career at Penn West-California (2022-2024) before transferring to Akron for the 2025 season, where he earned All-MAC Second Team honors. At Akron, he appeared in all 12 games with 11 starts, recording 45 tackles (18 solo), 10.5 tackles for loss, and 4.0 sacks while playing 657 defensive snaps. Across his full collegiate career, Laventure has appeared in 35 games with 30 starts, totaling 118 tackles (45 solo), 24.5 tackles for loss, and 10.5 sacks.
