D'Anthis Upshaw Jr. is a 6'5", 305-pound left guard from Irving, Texas, where he attended Irving High School. A redshirt sophomore at Texas Tech, Upshaw redshirted in 2024 as a scout team member. In 2025, he appeared in eight games, making his collegiate debut against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on 8/30. He earned the backup position at left tackle out of preseason and logged 124 offensive snaps overall, primarily at left tackle (103 snaps) with occasional snaps at right tackle (9) and tight end (10). Pro Football Focus credited him with a 75.0 or higher pass-blocking grade in four games and just one pressure allowed across 39 pass-blocking opportunities.
