D'Anthis Upshaw Jr. is a 6'5", 305-pound left guard from Irving, Texas, where he attended Irving High School. A redshirt sophomore at Texas Tech, Upshaw redshirted in 2024 as a scout team member. In 2025, he appeared in eight games, making his collegiate debut against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on 8/30.
