Ryan Scott is a linebacker for the Tennessee Volunteers standing 6'1" and weighing 220 pounds. A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Scott attended West High School, where he recorded 178 total tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and two sacks during his senior season before signing with the Vols in February 2024. He made his collegiate debut against Chattanooga on August 31, 2024, and appeared in four games as a freshman before earning a redshirt. During his redshirt freshman season in 2025, Scott played in 10 games and posted two solo tackles in the Homecoming victory versus New Mexico State.
