Jordan Burns, a 6'1" 227-pound linebacker from Conyers, GA, joined Tennessee as a four-star prospect in 2024. He redshirted his true freshman year, appearing in one game and recording one tackle and half a sack against UTEP. In 2025, Burns saw expanded action as a reserve linebacker and special teams contributor across 12 games, finishing with eight total tackles including two each against New Mexico State and Mississippi State. Burns has appeared in 13 career games and holds nine tackles, 0.5 TFLs, and 0.5 sacks overall. A two-time SEC Academic Honor Roll selection, he returns as a redshirt sophomore.
