Joel Wyatt is a 6'4", 210-pound free safety from Shelbyville, Tennessee who enrolled at Tennessee in January 2026. A consensus four-star prospect ranked No. 63 overall by recruiting services and No. 75 by national outlets, Wyatt was considered the No. 3 safety in the nation by both services. During his senior season at Oakland High School, he recorded 18 receptions for 337 yards and six touchdowns alongside 58 total tackles, two interceptions, and a sack. As a junior at Webb School in 2024, he logged 31 tackles, three tackles for loss, and 44 catches for 890 yards and 10 touchdowns. Wyatt received 28 Division I offers before committing to the Vols in July and expecting to contribute at safety during spring practice.
