Dejuan Lane is a 6'2", 215-pound safety who transferred to Tennessee from Penn State in January 2026. A consensus four-star recruit from Gillman School in Jessup, Maryland, Lane played 29 career games across two seasons with the Nittany Lions, including 13 appearances as a sophomore in 2025. During his freshman year, he appeared in all 16 games and recorded 14 tackles, one interception, and three pass breakups. As a sophomore, Lane started three contests and posted 30 tackles while playing 290 defensive snaps.
