Lamar Best is a freshman quarterback for Temple. The 6'0", 175-pound signal caller from Willingboro, New Jersey, was a four-year starter at St. Joseph Regional in Montvale. Over his high school career, Best passed for 5,994 yards and 77 touchdowns while rushing for 1,521 yards and 28 touchdowns. As a junior, he threw for 1,149 yards and 14 touchdowns and added 443 rushing yards with seven rushing scores. As a sophomore, he compiled 2,607 passing yards with 35 touchdowns and 845 rushing yards with 17 rushing touchdowns, also recording one reception for an 80-yard touchdown. Best enrolled at Temple in June 2026.
