Johnny Martin is a running back for Temple competing at the position as a redshirt senior in 2026. The Lawnside, New Jersey native attended Highland, where he posted three 1,000-yard seasons and accumulated 4,321 rushing yards, ranking 22nd all-time in South Jersey. He recorded 40 career touchdowns in high school, including 11 scores during his junior year when he rushed for 1,053 yards in six games. Martin began his college career at Charlotte in 2022, appearing in five games with 144 rushing yards and one touchdown. He transferred to Stony Brook, where he played in five games in 2023 and rushed for 140 yards on 35 carries. In 2024, Martin appeared in 11 games for the Seawolves, finishing with 249 rushing yards and three touchdowns, including a career-high 90 yards against Morgan State.
