Hunter Smith is a running back from Little Rock, Arkansas who transferred to Temple for the 2025 season after three years at Louisiana-Monroe. At UL Monroe, he appeared in all 12 games in 2022 and 2023, accumulating 634 all-purpose yards in 2023 while leading the team with 507 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. In his first season with Temple, Smith recorded 62 carries for 403 yards and two touchdowns, adding six receptions for 54 yards. He posted a career-long 72-yard run against Tulsa and caught a 21-yard reception versus Navy while also returning five kickoffs for 91 yards at an 18.2-yard average.
