Alex Hanks is a safety for the Temple Owls who enrolled in January as a member of the 2026 recruiting class. The East Orange, New Jersey native was a three-year letterwinner at safety and wide receiver at East Orange High School under head coach John Jacobs. As a senior, Hanks recorded 500+ receiving yards and 10 touchdowns while adding 29 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles. During his junior season, he made 56 tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss, and returned two interceptions for scores. Hanks stands 6'2" and weighs 195 pounds. From East Orange · East Orange, NJ.
