Saboor Karriem is a 6'3" free safety from Newark, New Jersey, who attended West Orange High School as a three-year letterwinner. A four-star recruit in the 2023 class, Karriem played three seasons at Illinois before transferring to Temple in January 2026. During his junior year at Illinois, he appeared in 13 games and recorded 22 total tackles (16 solo), including a career-high 10 tackles (seven solo) versus #21 USC. As a sophomore, he played in 12 games with seven tackles (four solo). Karriem enters his senior season at Temple.
