Max Carroll, a 6'3" linebacker from Memphis, Tennessee, joined TCU as a three-star recruit in 2023 and redshirted that season with four appearances. In 2024, he played in all 13 games as a redshirt freshman, recording 20 tackles including one for loss and two pass breakups. During the 2025 season, Carroll appeared in every game and posted 34 total tackles with 20 solo, four tackles for loss, two quarterback hurries, and one pass deflection. He earned a season-high six tackles against BYU and recorded 1.5 TFLs at Arizona State. Carroll currently returns as a redshirt junior for the Horned Frogs.
