Braylon James is a 6'2" wide receiver from Round Rock, Texas, who transferred to TCU from Notre Dame. A consensus four-star recruit in the 2023 class, James appeared in four games as a freshman for the Fighting Irish in 2023, recording his first career reception—a 12-yard catch against Pitt. In his debut season at TCU in 2024, he appeared in nine games and recorded three receptions for 11 yards, including two catches in the 45-0 win over LIU and a 5-yard reception in the 34-3 New Mexico Bowl victory over Louisiana. James did not appear in 2025.
