Major Everhart is a 5'11", 180-pound wide receiver from Amarillo, Texas, who attended Tascosa High School. A three-star recruit from the 2022 class, he redshirted in 2022 after playing in two games. In 2023, his redshirt freshman season, Everhart recorded 20 receptions and served as the primary kickoff returner, averaging 22.3 yards per attempt across all 12 games. An 86-yard kickoff return against Colorado set up a fourth-quarter score. He suffered a season-ending injury in 2024 after playing in the season opener. In 2025, Everhart appeared in 10 games with three starts, catching 14 passes for 149 yards while also handling kickoff return duties with 197 yards on nine attempts. He was named Second-Team Academic All-Big 12 in 2023.
