Joe Asiain is a 6'3", 275-pound left defensive end for Stanford from Edison, New Jersey. He attended Saint Peter's Prep in Jersey City, where he recorded 114 solo tackles and 165 total tackles across 22 games, along with 30.5 tackles-for-loss and eight sacks. As a freshman in 2024, Asiain played in two games and recorded three tackles. In his redshirt sophomore season (2025), he appeared in five games with two total tackles on 53 snaps split between defense and special teams. He earned All-ACC Academic Team honors in 2025.
