Xavier McIver is a defensive tackle from Cheraw, South Carolina, who played his college football at East Carolina before transferring to Southern Miss. At ECU from 2020-23, he appeared in 30 games and accumulated 22 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and two quarterback hurries, posting a career-high 14 stops during the 2021 season. He spent the 2024 season at UT Martin, where he recorded 13 tackles across 13 games while posting four quarterback hurries and half a tackle for loss. McIver returned to East Carolina in 2025 as a redshirt senior, registering six tackles in one game appearance, including a sack and 1.5 tackles for loss against North Carolina State on August 28.
