Landry Lyddy is a quarterback for Southern Miss from Stonewall, Louisiana. He played high school football at Calvary Baptist Academy, where he earned Louisiana Mr. Football honors in 2021 and led the Cavaliers to an 11-2 record his senior season, passing for 3,385 yards and 53 touchdowns. Lyddy previously attended UAB and Louisiana Tech before joining Southern Miss. In 2025, he appeared in six games with one start against Texas State on 11/15, recording 406 passing yards on 34-of-52 completions with two touchdowns and three interceptions. Against Arkansas State on 11/8, he threw a 76-yard touchdown pass to Elijah Metcalf while completing 4-of-6 passes for 128 yards.
