Ja'Kyri Watson is a cornerback from Kissimmee, Florida, who attended Osceola High School. A two-way player, Watson recorded 94 tackles, three interceptions and 29 pass break-ups across his high school career while also contributing 247 rushing yards and four touchdowns on offense, along with 11 receptions for 153 yards and a touchdown. He accumulated 1,199 all-purpose yards including 535 on kickoff returns and 213 on punt returns. As a senior, Watson posted 23 tackles and two interceptions; as a junior he logged 61 tackles, one interception and 24 pass break-ups. Osceola reached the 2024 Florida 6A State Championship runner-up game with Watson earning Athlete of the Year and Track MVP honors. Watson also competed in track, tying the third-fastest 100-meter time in school history at 10.79 seconds. Rated a three-star recruit with a composite rating of .8533, Watson joined South Florida as a true freshman in 2026.
