Jase Nix is a wide receiver for San José State from San Marcos, California. At San Marcos High School, he recorded 212 receptions, 3,304 yards and 48 touchdowns over four years, holding school records in all three categories. Named First Team SD Section all four years and All-CIE State his junior season, Nix also captained his team as a senior. He competed in track and field for three years, winning two SD CIE championships in the 100-meter dash and one in the 200-meter, with school records of 10.68 and 21.71 respectively. Nix appeared in one game for the Spartans in 2025 against Idaho on September 20.
