Shaan Patel is a true freshman quarterback for the Sam Houston Bearkats. The 6'1", 200-pound signal caller from Fulshear, Texas played at Fulshear HS, where he threw for 3,127 yards and 40 touchdowns against 10 interceptions during his senior season in 2025. He connected on 200 of 321 pass attempts and earned District 20-6A MVP honors and first-team all-district recognition while leading the program to the state playoffs. Patel wears number 19 and plans to pursue a degree in biomedical sciences.
