Jaylon Jones is a 6'1" free safety from Fresno, California who attended Central East High School before playing at Fresno City College. In 2024, he appeared in 10 games and recorded 4 interceptions, 13 tackles, 3 pass breakups, and a forced and recovered fumble. During the 2025 season, Jones played in 12 games for the Rams defense, totaling 37 tackles and 1 interception. He recorded a season-high 5 tackles and an interception in the season opener against Diablo Valley on August 30. Jones transfers to Sam Houston as a junior in 2026.
