Cameron Franklin is a safety from Sweeny, Texas who attended Van Vleck High School. Franklin played for Prairie View, appearing in 6 games as a true freshman in 2022. During the 2023 season, he recorded 30 tackles across 11 games, including 12 tackles against HCU, along with an interception and a recovered fumble. In 2024, Franklin played in 12 games with 34 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, an interception versus Grambling, 4 passes defended, and a forced fumble. He currently returns to Sam Houston as a redshirt senior.
