Daniel Swinney is a 5'10", 225-pound running back from Louisville, Kentucky, who graduated from Male HS in 2023. A three-star recruit, he played two seasons at Iowa Western Community College, where he accumulated 1,846 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns. As a freshman in 2024, he recorded 908 yards and 12 scores, followed by 938 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was named MVP of the 2025 JC national title game after rushing for 153 yards.
