Jamar Curtis is a running back from Waldorf, Maryland, who transferred to Sacramento State after three seasons at Lafayette. At Lafayette, Curtis earned Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2024 following a season in which he rushed for 1,139 yards and 19 touchdowns while catching 30 passes for 232 yards across 12 starts. He was a two-time Walter Payton Award finalist and FCS All-American selection. In 2025, his first season with the Hornets, Curtis carried the ball 37 times for 153 yards and one touchdown, averaging 4.1 yards per carry. He also caught 3 passes for 22 yards and added 14 kickoff return yards and 4 punt return yards.
