Xavier Williams is a running back for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. The 5'8", 205-pound sophomore from West Orange, New Jersey, attended Paramus Catholic High School, where he played linebacker and running back under coach Greg Russo. In his scholastic career, Williams recorded 313 carries for 2,048 yards and 26 rushing touchdowns, adding 34 total touchdowns. During his senior season, he carried 140 times for 949 yards and 12 rushing touchdowns while catching 12 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown. Williams earned first team all-division and second team all-group honors from NJ.com. He did not appear in games during his 2025 freshman year at Rutgers.
