Clay Thevenin is a 5'8", 195-pound running back from Fort Lauderdale, FL, who transferred to Rutgers as a redshirt junior. He played two seasons at Navarro Junior College in Texas (2023-24), accumulating 1,066 rushing yards on 240 carries with 10 touchdowns while earning 2024 NJCAA Honorable Mention All-America and First Team All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference honors. At Louisiana Tech in 2025, Thevenin appeared in all 13 games with seven starts, leading the team with 131 carries for 634 yards and eight rushing touchdowns while adding 33 receptions for 269 yards. He finished with a team-high 996 all-purpose yards and ranked eighth in the conference with 76.6 all-purpose yards per game.
