Jett Goldsberry is a true freshman defensive back for the Purdue Boilermakers from Lincoln City, Indiana. A three-star recruit ranked No. 474 nationally by the composite recruiting rankings, Goldsberry earned recognition as Indiana's top safety prospect by Rivals and finished eighth statewide in their rankings. At Heritage Hills High School, he recorded 40 tackles, eight tackles-for-loss, three sacks, one interception and one forced fumble during his senior season. Over his prep career, Goldsberry also appeared at quarterback, completing 295 of 555 passes for 5,310 yards and 68 touchdowns while rushing 534 times for 4,614 yards and 85 touchdowns. He compiled a 46-10 record as a starter and was a finalist for Mr. Indiana Football.
