Angelo Renda is a freshman quarterback for the Pittsburgh Panthers who enrolled in January 2026 after early graduation from Southlake Carroll High School in Texas. At Southlake Carroll, Renda was a three-year letterman and starting quarterback with a 28-1 record. He led the Dragons to back-to-back District 4-6A championships and a 15-1 record as a junior, finishing as runner-up in the 6A DII UIL Texas State Football championship. Over his varsity career, Renda completed 524 passes for 8,197 yards and 86 touchdown passes while adding 1,559 rushing yards and 27 scores. He was named one of 10 finalists for the 2025 MaxPreps Player of the Year Award.
