Holden Geriner is a quarterback who transferred to Pittsburgh in January 2026 from Texas State, where he appeared in three games during 2025 and recorded two rushing attempts for 10 yards against James Madison on 10/28. The 6'3", 225-pound native of Savannah, Georgia previously spent three seasons at Auburn (2022–24), appearing in eight games and completing nine passes for 116 yards, including action in the Music City Bowl. He earned two-time SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition. At Benedictine Military School, Geriner compiled 7,100 career passing yards and 71 touchdown passes, throwing for 3,377 yards and 36 touchdowns his senior year while leading the Cadets to a Class 4A State Title and earning Championship Game MVP honors. He holds a degree in finance from Auburn and is pursuing graduate studies in business at Pitt.
