Will Tompkins is a 6'5", 311-pound right guard from Cedar Falls, Iowa, who played high school football under head coach Brad Remmert. At Cedar Falls, he blocked for offenses that accumulated over 1,900 rushing yards and 1,600 passing yards in 2024, and 2,250 rushing yards and 1,206 passing yards during his junior year. The Tigers qualified for the Class 5A playoffs in consecutive seasons, reaching the quarterfinal round as a junior. Tompkins was named to Des Moines Register's All-Iowa Elite Team and received three-star ratings from recruiting services. He transferred to Penn State after redshirting during the 2025 season at Iowa State.
