Cooper Cousins is a right guard from Erie, Pennsylvania who attended McDowell High School, where he was a three-year letterman and two-time team captain. A consensus four-star recruit, he appeared in all 16 games during his true freshman season in 2024, earning preseason All-American honors from recruiting services. In 2025, his sophomore campaign, Cousins appeared in 12 games with two starts, including his first career start at Ohio State on November 1. He helped Penn State's offense accumulate significant yardage throughout the season, including 509 yards against Rutgers. Cousins earned Academic All-Big Ten recognition and was named to the Allstate Wuerffel Trophy Watch List as a preseason honoree.
