James Williams is a 6'5", 256-pound right defensive end from Kansas City, Missouri who transferred to Oklahoma State after playing at Florida State and Nebraska. At Iowa Central CC in 2022, he recorded 19 tackles, 6.0 sacks and 7.0 tackles for loss across 11 games, earning Game One Bowl Defensive MVP honors. During his redshirt season at Nebraska in 2023, he appeared in four games with 2.0 sacks. As a sophomore in 2024, Williams played in 12 games and ranked second on the team with 5.0 sacks while adding 5.5 tackles for loss. In 2025 at Florida State, he started six of 11 games, posting 19 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
