DJ Jackson Jr. is a 6'4", 243-pound defensive end from Atlanta, Georgia, who attended Mundy's Mill High School before joining Oklahoma State via the transfer portal. He earned first-team all-region and state defense honors in high school with seven sacks and was named the team's defensive MVP. Jackson began his college career at Carson-Newman in 2023, appearing in eight games as a reserve and recording a half sack against Emory & Henry. He transferred to Coffeyville CC for the 2024 season, where he posted 42 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks while helping the Red Ravens earn a No. 8 NJCAA ranking and KJCCC championship share.
