Ian Premer is a 6'6" tight end from Great Bend, Kansas, who enrolled at Notre Dame as a true freshman for the 2026 class. A five-star recruit by the composite recruiting rankings, he was ranked 21st overall nationally and top-ranked at his position. Premer earned multiple honors in high school, including 2025 Gatorade Player of the Year and First Team All-State football twice. He was also a multi-sport athlete, earning First Team All-State in baseball and First Team All-Conference accolades in both baseball and basketball, where he was named Conference Player of the Year.
