Ty Washington is a 6'4" tight end from Leesburg, Georgia, who transferred to Notre Dame from Arkansas. A consensus three-star recruit in the 2022 class, Washington redshirted as a freshman in 2022, appearing in five games and recording one reception for 17 yards and a score in the Liberty Bowl. During his 2023 freshman campaign, he competed in nine games with three starts before suffering a season-ending injury, amassing 11 receptions for 170 yards and two touchdowns. As a sophomore in 2024, Washington saw action in seven games with one start, catching one pass for 23 yards and a touchdown against Arkansas Pine-Bluff. In 2025, he has recorded five receptions for 34 yards and one touchdown.
