Luke Dehnicke is a 6'6" tight end from Andover, Minnesota, who transferred to Northwestern as a redshirt sophomore after one season at Minnesota Duluth. In 2025, his first full year of competition, Dehnicke earned NSIC Offensive Newcomer of the Year honors. He recorded 61 receptions for 1,119 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns, ranking second nationally in receiving yards and third in both receiving yards per game (97.6) and touchdown receptions. Dehnicke posted a career-high 230 receiving yards and four touchdowns against the University of Mary on October 25.
