Daniel Anderson is a running back from Alexander, AR who attended Bryant High School in Bryant, Arkansas. A three-star recruit ranked No. 67 nationally at his position, Anderson committed to Northwestern on December 4, 2024, choosing the Wildcats over Notre Dame, Tennessee, Colorado, and Mississippi State. In high school, he rushed for 856 yards and 11 touchdowns on 74 carries as a sophomore in 2022 while also recording nine receptions for 256 yards and three touchdowns, helping Bryant win its fifth consecutive Class 7A state championship. Anderson also competed in track and field as a state qualifier in triple jump, shot put, and relays. In 2025, he played in three games and recorded nine rushing yards on three carries.
