Austin Tillman is a defensive back for Northern Illinois, wearing number 21. The St. Louis native attended Christian Brothers College Prep, where he earned team MVP honors in 2023 and 2024 and was named team captain in 2024. At the prep level, Tillman recorded 22 tackles and 2 interceptions in 2024, adding a forced fumble and one tackle for loss. He also participated in track and field, running a 10.6 in the 100 meters, the second fastest in school history. Tillman appeared in one game during his freshman year at Toledo, which went 11-5 in 2025. He is now in his redshirt freshman season.
