Peder Haugo is a linebacker for North Dakota State who hails from Fargo, North Dakota, where he graduated from Fargo North High School in 2024. During his redshirt season in 2024, Haugo appeared in four regular-season games as the Bison's fourth running back, posting 40 rushing yards on eight carries against Tennessee State and 12 carries with a 19-yard reception versus Murray State. In his 2025 freshman season, Haugo played in all 13 games on special teams and at linebacker, recording 21 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks. He earned Phil Steele FCS Freshman All-America third team honors after intercepting a pass against Northern Iowa and posting a career-high 2.0 sacks against South Dakota.
