Gavin Sell is a redshirt freshman linebacker from Woodville, Wisconsin who attended Baldwin-Woodville High School. A four-year starter, he earned two all-state honors and first-team all-conference selections on both offense and defense. In high school, Sell accumulated 2,817 total yards and 29 touchdowns while helping lead his program to its first state championship game in three decades. He also lettered in hockey, basketball, baseball and track. During his 2025 redshirt season at North Dakota State, Sell appeared in the final three regular-season games plus the NCAA playoff contest against Illinois State, recording nine total tackles including eight solo stops and one tackle for loss.
