Mikhale Ford is a free safety for North Dakota State who hails from Lincoln, Nebraska, where he attended Lincoln East High School. At Lincoln East, Ford was a two-year starter and team captain who played cornerback and wide receiver, recording 38 receptions for 427 yards and four touchdowns his senior year. Defensively, he totaled 67 tackles, 45 unassigned, with three interceptions and one touchdown return, earning all-conference honors. During his redshirt freshman season in 2025, Ford appeared in four regular-season games, recording one pass breakup against St. Thomas and returning a punt 64 yards.
