Josh Magin is a right guard for North Dakota State who hails from Shakopee, Minnesota, where he graduated in 2022 and played defensive end. After redshirting in 2022, he appeared in four games as a backup defensive tackle in 2023, recording two tackles. He transitioned to the offensive line in spring 2024 and appeared in 12 games that season as a backup lineman and special teams contributor. In 2025, his junior year, Magin played in all 13 games and started the first 12 at right tackle while also contributing on PAT and field goal units. The Bison offense led the Missouri Valley Football Conference in rushing yards per game at 212.6 and ranked seventh in FCS. Magin has earned multiple academic honors, including the 2024 MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award.
