Jaylen Archibald is a safety for North Dakota State. The 6'1", 205-pound redshirt freshman from Frisco, Texas graduated from Frisco High School in 2024 after serving as team captain his senior year. At the prep level, he recorded 69 tackles with nine pass breakups and two interceptions in his final season, finishing his career with 293 total tackles, 23 pass breakups and four interceptions across three starting years. He earned first-team all-conference honors as a senior. Following a stint at the U.S. Air Force Prep Academy, Archibald joined the Bison and appeared in four Missouri Valley Football Conference games during the 2025 redshirt season, tallying four total tackles and two pass breakups against Northern Iowa.
