Evrett Tait is a safety for North Dakota State, standing 6'0" and weighing 205 pounds. The true freshman from Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, attended Regis High School, where he was a four-year starter under coach Bryant Bryant Brenner. As a senior, he earned conference offensive player of the year honors while recording 1,508 all-purpose yards, 18 touchdowns, and six 2-point conversions. Defensively, he was named first team all-state inside linebacker with 112 tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, six forced fumbles, two interceptions, and three pass breakups. Over his high school career, he totaled 237 tackles, 21.0 tackles for loss, 9.0 sacks, and 11 forced fumbles while rushing for 2,147 yards and 25 touchdowns. Tait is majoring in business administration.
