Viliami Moala is a true freshman nose tackle for North Carolina. A native of Alabaster, Alabama, he attended Thompson High School under head coach Mark Freeman. As a senior in 2025, Moala recorded 70 tackles across 13 games, including 15 tackles for loss, eight quarterback hurries, and two sacks. He earned selection to the 2025 Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game and was named a 2024 Under Armour All-American.
