Tyler Houser is a linebacker for North Carolina at 6'2" and 220 pounds. A three-star recruit from Pope John XXIII in Sparta, New Jersey, he redshirted during his 2025 freshman season without appearing in games. In high school, Houser compiled 341 career tackles with 225 solo stops and 116 assists. As a senior, he recorded 109 solo tackles and 144 total hits while adding 7.0 sacks in 10 games. He also logged an interception and fumble recovery in both his junior and senior seasons.
