Victor Villafuerte is a defensive end for the New Mexico Lobos standing 6'2" and weighing 220 pounds. A native of Hollister, California, Villafuerte lettered in football at Hollister High School before playing two seasons at Monterey Peninsula Junior College. During his 2023 season there, he totaled 31 tackles, seven interceptions with one returned for a touchdown, and two pass breakups while earning all-conference honors. He joined New Mexico as a redshirt junior and was named a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete for 2024-25. Villafuerte appeared in one game during the 2025 season without recording statistics.
